When we first moved to Austin, we rented a house on Elton Lane that was owned by Jim Hijl, a good friend and a construction engineer we had worked with on several projects. Jim needed a tenant for his rental property and we needed a space for our home and office. We rented the house because it had enough bedrooms and it also had space for the office. It was a split level old townhouse in Tarrytown. I hope I can find some pictures. We were there only a few months, and then we moved our residence to the 29th Street house and our office to Treaty Oaks downtown.
